PG-John Stockton-Utah Jazz
I put John Stockton over Magic Johnson and other elite point guards for a few reasons. He's the all-time NBA leader in assists and steals and played the pick and roll like none before or after. John also had a very reliable shot. He may not have been showtime, but he did get the job done.
SG- Michael Jordan- Chicago Bulls
This is too easy. 6 titles. Revolutionized the game. That's all that needs to be said.
SF- LeBron James- Cleveland Cavaliers/Miami Heat
LeBron is a fairly obvious choice for the small forward position, with the only person even close is Larry Bird. LeBron can shoot, guard any position, fly through the court, and power his way to the hoop like a freight train. Yes, I know his Finals record is 2-4, but at least hes' making it to the Finals. He could make practically any team that he goes on a title contender. With the exception of a few teams, of course. (cough, cough, the 76ers, cough, cough).
PF- Karl Malone- Utah Jazz
Karl Malone is the second all-time leading NBA scorer and is in the top ten all-time for steals. His chemistry with John Stockton helped the Jazz get far in the playoffs for many consecutive years, although they were stopped by MJ for the ultimate goal.
C- Bill Russell- Boston Celtics
Bill Russell was one of the best defensive players and rebounders in the history of the game. He could post rebounding numbers unheard of in today's game. The reason that I placed him higher than players such as Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is because of the number of championships that he won, which was eleven championships.
