Red Sox win world series
Boston beat the Cardinals 6-1 in game six. Jon Lester gave up 1 run on nine hits with five strikeouts and a walk. Shortstop Stephen Drew homered in the 4th, Shane Victorino racked up four RBI's in the win. David Ortiz won the World Series MVP, reaching base 19 times in 25 plate appearances and was hitting .688.
